Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Breez, an AI Foundry Ventures product, collects, uses, stores and deletes information when you use the Breez assistant and this website. It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).

1. Who we are

Breez is operated by AI Foundry Ventures, Bengaluru, India. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data you provide directly. When Breez is deployed for a firm, the firm is the Data Fiduciary and Breez acts as a Data Processor under the Data Processing Addendum.

2. Data we process

• Account & contact data — your name, email, organisation and the messages you send us, including waitlist signups.
• Work data you connect or forward — emails, calendar events, documents and voice notes you choose to share with the assistant, used only to perform the tasks you request.
• Personal-vault data (optional) — health and finance entries you create are stored in a separate vault with separate encryption keys.

3. Data residency

Personal data is stored and processed in India (Google Cloud asia-south1, Mumbai). Where a firm chooses a dedicated-VPC deployment, data remains within that firm’s own cloud tenancy.

4. Read-only by default

Breez begins with zero write access. Every send, chase or calendar change is previewed and confirmed by you until you explicitly grant “always allow” for a specific action type. Every action is recorded in an append-only audit log before it is taken.

5. Personal-vault separation

On firm plans, your health and finance data is cryptographically out of reach of any firm administrator. This is enforced by architecture (separate vaults, separate keys), not by policy alone.

6. Your rights

• Access and correction of your personal data.
• Erasure — a single command purges everything (files, indexes, audio, history) within 72 hours, with a completion receipt.
